Because I am not throwing away a NT before he completes his 3rd year. It takes most NTs a long time to figure out the NFL. It took Wilfork 3 years, it took the guy in Chicago 3 years. I am willing to give Okam 3 years.

WalterFootball.com updated their mock on 10/22, so analysis is still out of date, but interesting picks, picking in the 19th spot, mocking three rounds.

rd 1 Joe Haden, CB, Florida , 5'10", 202 climbing the boards as a Jr.,

Mike Iupati, G, Idaho 6'6" 330 5.2 40 from Sporting News,
if he's there I'd take him

rd 2 Vince Oghobaase, DT, Duke 6'5" 305 5.05 40

rd 3 Toby Gerhart, RB, Stanford 6'1" 235 4.6 40

Could we really be 6-1 if we could run in for a TD from 1 yard line? Then OG and RB could be a big need.

I think I'd be o.k. with that draft. I need to see who was available in the 1st round, but I'm ok with Iupati, Oghobasse, and Gebhart.

OK you know I am in the trade down school here. so two different paths

no trade
# 19 ) Brandon Spikes, ILB, Florida I know we do not need a Mike but BPA sorry
#51 ) Mike Johnson, G, Alabama
#82 ) Mitch Petrus, G, Arkansas

In a year or two Caldwell is the OC, and Petrus and Johnson are OGs with Brown and Winston, this is a solid power block group, and they have size.

Trade down
#33 from NE from Tenn
Jonathan Dwyer, RB, Georgia Tech
#51 ours
Vince Oghobaase, DT, Duke
#58 from NE
Mike Johnson, G, Alabama
#82 Thomas Austin, G, Clemson

I was high on him coming into this year but after watching him play a few times have droped him completely off my list.

While watching Bama though Rolondo McClain has moved way up.

That kid is a stud, IMO he is a better player at this point in his career (he's a junior) than Demeco was as as junior.

And I like Mark Ingram 5-10 215 RB Bama Sophomore,

and if you do not like Johnson, use Mike Iupati, G, Idaho or John Jerry, G, Ole Miss .
Or go Nate Allen, FS, South Florida or Deunta Williams, FS, North Carolina
