Way too much respect for Arizona, IMO. Even some of the staunchest homers are marking them down as a definite L.

Since the '01 SB:
2001 NY Giants (7-9)
2002 St. Louis Rams (7-9)
2003 Oakland Raiders (4-12)
2004 Carolina Panthers (7-9)
2005 Philadelphia Eagles (6-10)
2006 Seattle Seahawks (9-7)
2007 Chicago Bears (7-9)
2008 NE Patriots (11-5)

Plus, it's not like the Cardinals were some juggernaut last season. They won 9 games and barely made it into the playoffs. They simply got on a hot streak in the playoffs and got lucky for a few games. Now, Edge is a year older, Warner's a year older, Boldin wants out, and the defense is switching scheme and coaches.

Way overrated, IMO.

I agree. I certainly wouldn't write the game off as a loss. Frankly, I wouldn't write any of them off as a loss anymore. However, it's a tough matchup for us because of their great passing game, a defense that creates turnovers, and because they are a good home team.

It's not about them being great and a Super Bowl contender, it's moreso about them having Fitz, Boldin, Warner, and their ability to destroy our secondary.
