Hmmm...as a longhorn I should be pleased with this pick, but I just don't feel it. Time will tell but despite all the yards he just always felt slow.

And I'm stunned we continue to ignore woeful OL.

I don't like big RBs. Much of their college success cannot be replicated because they are no longer bigger than most of the defense. NFL defenders are bad men. It's also why I wouldn't have gone near Fournette in the 1st. Why draft a guy who is useless if he gets hit at or near the LOS? I guess we needed a redzone compliment to Miller.

OK enough, is enough. This is like last year when round after round they passed on tackles and the Texans seemed to be oblivious to their pressing need at OT. Sure they drafted a center, but that's not the same thing as an offensive lineman who can play on the edge and face the pass-rushers.
But now they are using 3rd round picks on a RB and for what ? Big backs are a available in the late rounds or as undrafted rookie free agents.
I hope Smith has got his eye on some OTs who he's sure will be cut by other teams who he can sign as free agents ?

NFL Network had a pre-draft story on Foreman who found out his girlfriend had given birth to a premature baby in September who was a 50/50 chance of survival and it was kept out of the media. The day he rushed for over 300 yards against Texas Tech, he learned his son D'onta Jr. died during the game. Very touching story.

Foreman is from Texas City High School. He's a straight-ahead beast with a little wiggle who ran for over 2000 yards. I expect he'll be in the goalline packages in the beginning. As long as he doesn't make that left turn laterally like so many backs do behind Duane Brown, he'll be okay. He's not a scat back and he's not outrunning anyone to the edge but he is tough to stop when he gets his momentum going. Think a slimmer Christian Okoye.

PHere is one review, if he gives us 3rd down and end zone, we needed that.

Now have 4 more picks and free agency to help OL.

Webb looked like more like an O'Briend kinda QB than Watson does, or MaHomes IMO. Apparently there's no single O'Brien kinda QB.
It's certainly gonna be interesting to follow Webbs career and all the other QBs in this Draft besides the one the Texans selected.

The more I watch Cunningham the more I like him and the more the missed tackle 'issue' seems overblown. I don't know how you can lead the world with seven thosand SEC tackles and still suck at tackling. And it turns out he doesn't. He'll need to get a little stronger but I expect that he and McKinney will pair up to be quite a duo for quite a while.

Roderick Johnson and Julie'N Davenport are two OTs I had read good things about and, face it, on the third day, you are taking risks. I'm glad they recognized the need for a RB who could share the load with Lamar Miller. I thought Miller was overworked and was too dinged up by the end of the year. I like Hunt as a change-of-pace back but Foreman can help shorten games at the end.
