The Texans are coming up and my draft board is similar to what I would like for My Colts. The cover ILB, the RG, the OLB, the DE, the RT, and the CB.

Raiders get Obi Melifonwu. Davis Webb is still available. Wow. The Texans select Zach Cunningham, Brian Cushing Cushing is at the end.

I have Davis Webb as my best available prospect. The Texans could have had him over Cunningham. The rest of My Guys are Dan Feeney, Jordan Willis, Chris Wormley, Chidobe Awuzie, Derek Rivers, Taylor Moton, Ahkello Witherspoon, and Bucky Hodges.

I am dumbfounded that Davis Webb is still available. After him, I still have Chris Wormley, Derek Rivers, Bucky Hodges, Anthony Walker Jr, Cordrea Tankersley, Fabian Moreau, Alex Anzalone, Montravius Adams, Carl Lawson, and Kareem Hunt.

Chris Wormley going to Ozzie Newsome. #74 overall and I had him ranked #22.

Tarell Basham is one of My Guys, I ranked him #57. But I had Trey Hendrickson (#49), Vince Biegel (#48), Carl Lawson (#45), and Derek Rivers (#26) ranked higher than him.

But Cunningham is also very highly regarded but still surprising given our needs in the OLine. When do we take a tackle, surely in third ?

Side note from last night.

Arizona had their #13 draft card filled out with Deshaun Watson's name on it...they were pissed when HOU traded ahead of them to get him.

Money talks, Brucie.

I've been meaning to ask about Newton. Has anyone heard anything one way or the other?

No idea but rehabbing both knees at the same time sounds brutal.

It sounds impossible. Which is why I'd assumed that the team thinks he'll never play again and why I'm a little puzzled that they haven't done anything to address the need to this point. Obviously this is a historically bad draft for OL and the FA OL were obscenely expensive. But the need is plain.

Our Oline isn't desperate is it, we have center coming back, not sure on Newton.

Anywsys, here is a review on our new ILB, Zach Cunningham, plays run, and pass.

Saints are/were supposedly dangling a #2 for next year to get into this round. I wonder how much thought they gave that.

Actually we are desperate at RT - the guy who was playing three last year blew out both of his knees trying to block Von Miller, so yea man we are pretty desperate right now at RT.
Oh and that center, he's comging aback from IR and has played a down in a regular season NFL so far.

f

So, we have 5 more picks for now, maybe two for OL.
And might use some cap space on a veteran , perhaps after June or after preseason cuts even.

If (big if) he can prove he is healthy, I would love for Houston to spend some of their cap $ on a 1yr deal for Sebastian Vollmer at RT.
