Default Previous NFL Players Will Annouce 2nd RD Picks

As has become common tradition, previous NFL players will announce the 2nd RD pick for their respective team. So far, I've seen reports on the following teams:

BUF: Jim Kelley
CHI: Dick Butkus
PITT: Mel Blount
MIA: Dwight Stephenson
SEA: Kenny Easley

HOU: Eric Brown

I know not all teams can or will have HOF superstars announce their pick, and that our years of existence pails in comparison to those above, but still, I find this somewhat depressing being a Texans fan. The cynic in me thinks that perhaps Chris Brown (of RB and INT pass lore) would've been a more appropriate historical connection.

Meh. We really have no history. We're only a teenager. It will come, but it will likely be in our 20's when it does. Having our Oiler history yanked away from us really impacts goofy stuff like this.

So, J.J. Moses was busy that weekend? Where's Chester Pitts?

Hey we've got a well known former player. How about we use Andre Johnson to announce our second round pick? Oh wait, he' still in the league isn't he.
