With a 1-5 division record and going 9-7 for the season you won't see the playoffs very often if at all. It just isn't good enough. IMHO Kubiak hasn't been good enough. His record is mediocre but Houston celebrates like getting to 9-7 in 4 years is the superbowl. Other coaches get fired for the same type of non production. This isn't the 70's where time is on your side to build slowly and methodically. Todays NFL is fast paced and teams turn around quickly with a good coach that can gameplan and evalute talent. Sean Peyton is just 1 of many that have done it. Go ahead and bring up 2-14. At some point you have to let go of the loser mentality and hold this team to a higher standard at the beginning and the end of the season.

I'm happy that the Texans went 9-7 and got there first winning season. But I expect more out of this team.
