Default The Cowardly Lion

Was listening to a national Fox Sports Radio feed yesterday and they said the most cowardly performance in Week 1 was performed by our very own Matt Schaub. They said he was a coward and a true wimp in the pocket. Justified or not, his fault or not, that's the perception by some in the national media.

I'll have to admit, I'm getting more than a little concerned here that we still haven't found our franchise QB. Watching Schaub at times makes me wish he had half the toughness that David Carr had. Carr couldn't do much of anything all that well (and no, I'm not saying I prefer Carr), but at least he could take a hit and showed toughness. Combine Schaub's vision and smarts with Carr's arm, athleticism, and toughness and you'd have one hell of a QB.
