Default Texans’ scout tries and fails to text QB Dak Prescott

A scout for the Houston Texans recently tried to get in touch with Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott to get some more information from him. However, he must have been given the wrong phone number at some point, as he texted a random amateur triathlete who lived in Louisiana.

I heard about this on Thursday, and it confirms that the Texans are not happy with someone on the current roster, and my guess is it's Savage.

Until they cut Hoyer or trade him, I am convinced the HC wants Hoyer to be the veteran back up to Os. And if they are looking at Dak, then they are looking at a new project QB, someone who will take time to develop. Not a one year project. (Remember Os is getting at least two years to prove himself based on his contract, he can be dumped in year three if he sucks). Dak is the kind of person that you want to succeed, and you hope he is the guy that they develop and trade in year four.

Guess they don't want Hoyer to be the veteran backup after all. The team has released Hoyer according to 610am's text update.
