sounds like all Texans not already on IR will be ready to play Thursday night.

Hopefully offense can sustain their drives more consistently and defense has another good game putting pressure on Luck and forcing a few turnovers.

My key will be sustaining the ground game and getting an above-average performance from Fitzpatrick. Keeping the ball out of Luck's hands as much as possible will be vital. Honestly, I think we lose this one although I've felt that way about the Texans every week this season except at Oakland.

I didn't think we had much of a chance to win Sunday up in Arlington, but then we have so many things go our way into the second half, tie it for OT, then win the OT coin flip, but in OT manage to grab defeat out of the jaws of victory. So I got no idea about tomorrow night except that I'll be wearing my DQ T-shirt while being glued to the tube.

From PFT:
Colts down both starting guards against Texans
Posted by Josh Alper on October 8, 2014, 4:30 PM EDT

Lance Louis filled in at right guard when the Colts were without Hugh Thornton two weeks ago and then moved to left guard to cover for the injured Jack Mewhort in last Sunday’s victory over the Ravens.

Unless there’s a Lance Louis clone floating around, one that would surely be named Louis Lance, the Colts are going to need to dig a bit deeper to find two starting guards against the Texans on Thursday night. Both Mewhort, who has an ankle injury, and Thornton, who has been sidelined this week by back woes, have been ruled out for the game. Joe Reitz and A.Q. Shipley would be the top options to join Louis in the starting lineup.

Nickel corner Darius Butler has also been ruled out because of an ankle injury and defensive end Arthur Jones will miss another game while he recovers from a high ankle sprain of his own. Jones has missed the last three games for Indianapolis.

The only other injury concerns for Indy are at linebacker, where Jerrell Freeman (hamstring) is questionable and Bjoern Werner (ankle) is probable.

Is it too much to ask for us to beat the Colts and have a decent showing on prime time?

Texans win over Colts in prime-time - that would sure be nice, I might have to celebrate that with pecan pie and vanilla ice cream.

Late word is RG Brooks is out and LG Jones is sick but will try to go - so this could end up being a wash.

What an embarrassment. Nice way to start a prime time game at home. Someone please call NRG and wake up our team!

Colts onsides the kickoff and the kicker (McAfee) recovers it. Colts will have the ball at their 46.

----------------------------------------

Pass to Hilton goes all the way to the 5, KJ whiffs and Hilton gets up and takes the ball in for the score. Play is under review..... looks like Hilton and KJ might've touched around the 4 or 5 yard line.

Score is nullified and the ball is placed at the 5 yard line. Colt's ball.

Richardson sweeps right and takes it in for the score.

Colts 10, Texans 0

10:40 left in the 1st qtr.

What a joke of a franchise. They spent a first round draft pick on a guy who tries to get out of the way of a guy who's trying to score a touchdown. AND, he's their best corner.

Incredible. The Texans are a total disgrace.

But hell yeah, I'm loving watching Daryl Morris scratch his ass on the bench. And Alfred Blue. Hell of a special teams player. Really loving his kickoff coverage.

Pass over the middle to Foster broken up, inc. 3rd and 8 coming up.

Punt is returned to the Colts 44 yard line. Colt's ball.

WTH was our coaching staff thinking? There wasn't a player within 15 yards of the middle of the field on that on-sides kick.

Pass to Doyle gets 4. 3rd and 2 coming up.

Pass to Allen goes for 18. 1st down.

Pass to Hilton goes to the Texan 17. Another 1st down.

Luck's pass is tipped by Watt at the LOS, inc. 2nd and 10 coming up.

Pass to Fleener in the end zone is inc but a flag is down.....Illegal contact on the Texans is declined, PI on the Texans is accepted. Places the ball at the Texan 3 yard line. 1st and goal.

Watt trips up the scrambling Luck. Loss of 1 and a sack, I believe. 2nd and goal coming up.

Pass to Bradshaw alone in the flat goes for the score.

Do you want him to play corner, inside linebacker? Outside linebacker?
