According to John McClain, the Texans have decided to move Cushing back to his natural position of SAM. The article does not say they are starting Bentley but he is the logical choice.
Good decision

Why the hell not.....nothing else seems to be working. Maybe he will become that guy we used to know....maybe.

Yeah, seems good to me. Hopefully get Cush back to his strength. Edge blitz and so on.
Now, why can't they move someone in for Kareem Jackson and try it for some plays atleast, you got Molden and Paymah to try. And if Mario is injured shoulder and hip, being ineffective, maybe give him a break and let someone else play as well, maybe Jamison? Last edited by Nconroe; 11-10-2010 at 09:35 PM. |

I have come to find that Kubiak is one of those stubborn ass coaches. If he implemented it, he doesn't want to change it for anything in the world; No matter how ineffective it may be.
Last year it took him damn near 8 weeks to realize the run game wasn't working before he went pass heavy. This year, we (and the rest of the world) can see that Kareem is getting it handed to him every week by every Tom, Dick, and Harry. But of course because he made the decision to start him, he doesn't want to go back on his decision. What the hell is Jackson doing in practice that has Kubiak still trotting him out there every week. All that to say, I am very stunned at his quick undoing of this Cushing Mike LB project. It took him only two weeks...WOW...Maybe there is a light under his ass after all. OR Maybe not. |
