Flacco sneaks for the 1st down. Ball at the Texan 49. Pass to Smith off his hands, inc. Pass to Jacoby good for 9. 3rd and 1 coming up. Flacco carries for a couple and the 1st down. End of the 3rd quarter.

Pass to Boldin is broken up by McCain. 2nd and 10 coming up. Pass to Boldin good for 7 but flags down.... PI on the Ravens -10. Makes it 2nd and 20. Red flag is thrown by Harbaugh - challenging that GQ didn't tip the ball.....

Flacco's pass sails inc. Brings up 4th and 3. Ravens to go for it. Oy, Flacco's pass off the mark but PI on JJo give the Ravens an auto 1st down at the Texan 19. Flacco is sacked by A Smith! Loss of 8. 2nd and 18 coming up. Flacco is sacked by A Smith, again! Loss of 9. 3rd and 27 coming up. Flacco can't find a receiver and chunks it away, inc. Ravens to try the 54-yard FG. FG is good. Texans 36, Raven 13 12:23 left in the game.

--------------------------- Tate for 9. Tate for about 4. Foster goes around right end for about 16. Foster for 2. Ball at the Raven 12. Tate improvises for 8 and a 1st down at the Raven 3. 1st and goal. 9:27 left in the game. Foster punches it in for the TD! Texans 43, Ravens 13 8:48 left in the game.

Dumpoff to Rice, gets caught for a loss of 2. 3rd and 10 coming up. Deep pass to Smith in the endzone goes inc. Ravens going for it on 4th down.... Pass the Smith off the mark, inc. A couple of random thoughts...
Did the Ravens make a single tackle today that didn't involve the defender wrapping both arms around the helmet? Terrible tackling form and it played a big role in Foster's escape act first down runs. Kevin Walter has been very good this year. The rest of the defense showed up with Watt today. Joseph was still not Joseph, but oddly they rarely tested him deep and let him instead get physical with a non-physical WR (Smith) on short stuff. A great job from him of playing well when he is not at his best. Mercilous needs more snaps. I think we finally saw what a total effort out of this team looks like. Marcus Pollard has always been dirty, but playing for Baltimore has somehow allowed him to get dirtier. He is nearing Roman Harper territory.

One interesting thought...
Kubiak seemed to have the same game plan as last week. The only difference was Green Bay jumped all over our ass from jump; forced us to abandon the run. We were lucky enough to not get torn apart in same way after those first two 3 and outs. On the other hand Wade definitely made some adjustments. The defense clearly came out with cruel intentions. Congrats to Barwin, Antonio, and Whitney for being showing up.

You're absolutely right...but he's come out throwing before...and we still came away with the win. My point was that our defense kept it tight early on while we had a couple three and outs...as opposed to last week...great game

Mercilous definitely needs to be in the rotation from here on. He had a burst that we haven't seen from anyone not named Watt. I think this kid is going to be a very disruptive force for us for in the future and for a long time. I'm actually surprised at how big his lower and upper body is. When he came out of college he looked much more slender than he is today. He has the body type and speed of Suggs (well, the Suggs before he became a fatty by putting on like 30lbs during his injury). I think we have a player here, folks.
