I liked him out of college, was surprised at his slow development, but that may have something to do with his coaches. God know he had little talent playing with him.

Nice serviceable backup with an upside, maybe Kubiak and Shanahan work a miracle on this kid.

Dan Orlovsky's base salaries:
2009 $1,750,000
2010 $2,250,000
2011 $2,750,000

Added with a reported $2.4 million signing bonus, this deal amounts to the reported $9.15 million total contract value.
