Cutdown day is coming.

Get your cuts down to 28 done by Labor Day Monday (or earlier), then sub your waiver requests (up to 4 rounds) for anyone you want to pick up after that.

Then... don't forget to set your week one lineups!!

Specifically, we'll continue with "first come, first serve" waivers until midnight on 8/27, then any players you want to add after that time will need to be requested through waivers, which will run at 8pm CT on Tues 9/2. Then we'll be in our regular weekly waiver process afterward.

Looking ahead, we will freeze our 28-man rosters on 12/23, the day after our championship game.

Also like last year, the deadline to cut rosters down to 26 players will be 2/14.

Afterward, I will bump up the roster capacity back up to 34 to facilitate the draft and any offseason trading. We'll then cut back down to 28 players again on Labor Day in 2009.
