Maybe I'll actually watch it this year.

I think Slaton deserved to be there over Ronnie Brown. But who knows... aren't these things selected in about week 8?

Congrats to them!
I want to watch Mario opposite Freeney and see what happens. Member the good ol days when we had 9 probowlers on offense with the Oilers? I was looking at the AFC team and that is one impressive bunch. And then I looked at the NFC...now I hate the cowgirls but loved the fact that Whitten made it and crybaby owens didn't. |

I'm OK with the guys we got named as alternates....probably one or two will get to go. Slaton's probably the easiest to make a snubbed case for....and I've heard at least one writer do it. He's a rookie who didn't become "the man" for us until a few weeks into the season, so I'm not surprised or upset. Leach should be there as well IMO as a "true" fullback.
I've said it before, but I don't think Walter gets enough recognition. I know I could put up a few catches with AJ opposite of me. I'm not saying that he should be there, but a guy who will probably crack a 1,000 yards and is second in the AFC in TD's for WR's should at least be in the conversation. Even among Texans fans I think he's really really under-appreciated. It must be because he's white....yes, that was a joke that no one should take seriously.
