Taylor's 3rd INT gives the Dolphins good field position.

--------------------------------------------------

And the Dolphins give it right back. Deflected pass caught by Texans DL Maliek Collins. Texan's ball at their 44.

-------------------------------------------------

11:39 left in the 3rd qtr.

Turnovers: Texans 3, Dolphins 4

Penalties: Texans 8/60, Dolphins 1/8

--------------------------------------------------

After a Dolphin punt, the Texans takeover at their 7 yard line.

Still:

Dolphins 17, Texans 6

2:17 left in the 3rd qtr.

It’s brutal they make us watch this. Offer a different game or cut away when we’re inevitably blown out in the 3rd quarter. But there are 10 games going on and the Houston area is forced to watch this.

Once the team relocates to St Louis you can look forward to a better variety of games every Sunday.

The Crackwagon is getting shut out at home for the first time in 30 years. Oh, the schadenfreude being denied in Houston.

20 yard FG by Fairbairn makes it:

Dolphins 17, Texans 9

11:32 left in the game.

It’s worthless paying a ref as an ‘expert’ analyst. Pereira gets consulted and says it’s incomplete. Then they say catch/fumble and he explains why it’s a catch fumble. What a pointless consult and a giant waste of money to pay him for his non-opinion.

And Texan turnover #4 by Jordan Akins will probably seal the deal.

----------------------------------------

Final score:

Dolphins 17, Texans 9

What a mess....

Not Tyrod's best day as a pro:

24/43, 5.6 avg, 0 TDs, 3 INTs, 5 sacks, 42.8 rating.

He looked rusty. There were some really bad passes. The miss to Amendola was painful. Not sure Davis Mills would have played that bad....

Maybe he knocks the rust off but that won't be for two weeks as the Texans have their bye week coming up. They come out of the bye to play the Titans in Tennessee....
