Interesting point...it would result in a big cap hit if they trade him but Tunsil for less than $1 million next year is VERY attractive...especially to a contender like KC.

Most believe tackle trade discussions heat up come Draft. Teams that miss on targets pivot to trades. Orlando Brown Jr the big name. #Texans just restructured Tunsil. Imagine HOU goes into complete rebuild. Could you imagine the trade value of Tunsil at $990K Cap hit in 2021?

Was thinking the exact same re: Tunsil's 2021 base.

With the Marcus Cannon trade taken into consideration here, the puzzle pieces fit better with Tytus Howard moving to LT and Cannon to RT versus one of them moving to guard with Tunsil still at LT.

If the goal is to start over and rebuild, then getting a load of draft capital from Tunsil would go a long way. Plus, pass protection has been a strength of Howard's and doesn't seem like a stretch at all that he could handle the transition.

And regardless of how the Deshaun Watson situation (situations?) is resolved, this is a rebuild. Inevitable with the departure of Bill O'Brien and the exodus and aging of talent over the last two seasons.
