Default Texans Negotiating With AB??

Retweeted by "Dear Leader":

This is going to seem like a joke, but I promise it’s not. Sources tell me Antonio Brown is in talks with the Houston Texans as a possible landing spot. No deal on the table yet, but Houston is doing their due diligence. Please credit. Ben Stevens (@BenScottStevens)
So Coach/G.M. "I'm ditching the best player on my team because I don't like his baby mamas hanging around the practices" is now cool with "I'm signing the biggest cancer in professional football while his litigants hang around my practice field."??

Do tell. Lord knows Deshaun needs the help but, deep down, I'd rather have kept Nuke. But, on the other hand, A.B. may be one of the few people that could get Coach "Fake Punt When Leading by 24" fired.

Pursuing Antonio Brown, if it were to ever make sense, carries more credibility if GM Bill O'Brien were able to part ways with Will Fuller or Kenny Stills. Keke Coutee seems to be forgotten by O'Brien. Maybe I'm living in the past, but if Brandin Cooks and Randall Cobb are healthy, with Watson at QB, it's an intriguing WR corps without adding Brown.

Also, it is unclear whether Brown would face a suspension from the league should he return.

But I don't doubt that Brown would be a true WR1 with this team. Could be interesting to see if or how he has changed since apparently melting down a year ago.

Did AB melt down? Melting down would imply he was once capable of suppressing his impulses. I think he's always been like this except now he's been bit by fame and fortune on top of having exceptional talent. If O'Brien had sense, this would be a one-year "prove it" contract offer heavy on incentives and low on guarantees, at least in Year One and then the other years are voidable should certain transgressions occur.

Actually I like the idea of the GM signing AB because should he join the team that might finally be the thing that would persuade the ownership to kick O'Brien's sorry ass out of Houston.
