Tyler Ervin is a small gadget player. Trindon Holiday or Darren Sproles? Who knows, but he does have return ability which is something that I believe that they were looking for. Same thing with Braxton Miller. Personally, I would have rather had Kenneth Dixon as a potential player who might have to start if Lamar Miller goes down with an injury. The backup RB should have the ability to keep the same offensive philosophy of running the ball and not have to resort to Wildcat packages or bubble screens. It would also keep Miller fresh by being able to split carries. Ervin will have a specific role on Special teams and a 3rd down back coming out of the backfield for passes.
