I understand the value of having the bird in hand and I believe that's the reason why we had to sign Oweiler. There's no way of knowing for sure that we could get one of these 'Potential Franchise QBs' in the draft. It's not my money, but it is awfully expensive to have a guy with very limited starts in the NFL. I'm having flashbacks of Matt Flynn. That being said, I hope that signing Brock doesn't preclude the team from drafting a QB if one falls in our laps.
