TRADES
TRADE PARTNER: LA RAMS SENT: ROUND: 3 PICK: 22 ROUND: 4 PICK: 21 RECEIVED: ROUND: 3 PICK: 13 TRADE PARTNER: KANSAS CITY CHIEFS SENT: ROUND: 1 PICK: 22 RECEIVED: ROUND: 1 PICK: 28 ROUND: 4 PICK: 28 ROUND: 5 PICK: 23 ROUND: 5 PICK: 26 28: R1P28 OT JACK CONKLIN MICHIGAN STATE 52: R2P21 G JOSHUA GARNETT STANFORD 76: R3P13 TE HUNTER HENRY ARKANSAS 126: R4P28 DT MATT IOANNIDIS TEMPLE 159: R5P20 RB KENYAN DRAKE ALABAMA 162: R5P23 ILB BLAKE MARTINEZ STANFORD 165: R5P26 S TYVIS POWELL OHIO STATE 166: R5P27 DT MALIEK COLLINS NEBRASKA 195: R6P20 QB KEVIN HOGAN STANFORD I was happy to trade down with KC and get extra picks. Darron Lee was off the board @ #19. Ryan Kelly was selected @ #26, but I got my favorite LT not named Tunsil. Adding Garnett upgrades the OL. I moved up to select the first TE off the board @ #76. Vannett went @ #81 and Higbee went @ #88. I missed out on WRs Doctson #30, Thomas #31, Shepard #36, Mitchell #120, Garrett #153. Drake can spell Lamar Miller and brings Return ability. Martinez is not fast, but he is a tackling machine. Powell will be a starting Safety in the league. Collins was a surprise and is one of My Guys, but not one of my Favorites. However, I couldn't pass on his talent in the 5th round. Collins and Ioannidis augment the D-Line. Kevin Hogan makes trading Hoyer an easy decision.
