The newest big board was Bleacher Report (which is garbage) but it is always fun working with a board you have no familiarity with. Somehow, I never got a trade offer to my liking but a lot of guys fell that were below where I think they'll actually be picked:

22: R1P22 ILB REGGIE RAGLAND ALABAMA
52: R2P21 C RYAN KELLY ALABAMA
85: R3P22 QB CHRISTIAN HACKENBERG PENN STATE
120: R4P21 RB DERRICK HENRY ALABAMA
160: R5P20 DE CARL NASSIB PENN STATE
167: R5P27 OLB ERIC STRIKER OKLAHOMA
196: R6P20 CB JONATHAN JONES AUBURN

I guess I could call this my "Roll Tide" draft. No receivers in this draft but you have to grab the value that's out there.

CBS list again. Lots of trade down and a future 2nd given away. To many picks to be functional.

34: R2P3 C RYAN KELLY ALABAMA
60: R2P29 DT CHRIS JONES MISSISSIPPI STATE
68: R3P5 TE HUNTER HENRY ARKANSAS
85: R3P22 WR BRAXTON MILLER OHIO STATE
91: R3P28 RB ALEX COLLINS ARKANSAS
102: R4P3 S JAYRON KEARSE CLEMSON
120: R4P21 CB JONATHAN JONES AUBURN
124: R4P25 WR KOLBY LISTENBEE TCU
160: R5P20 DT MATT IOANNIDIS TEMPLE
167: R5P27 G ISAAC SEUMALO OREGON STATE
190: R6P14 RB AARON GREEN TCU
196: R6P20 TE HENRY KRIEGER COBLE IOWA
197: R6P21 OLB IAN SEAU NEVADA
205: R6P29 G JOE DAHL WASHINGTON STATE
230: R7P8 K KA'IMI FAIRBAIRN UCLA
247: R7P25 QB CODY KESSLER SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

ROUND: 6 PICK: 29

TRADE PARTNER:
DALLAS COWBOYS SENT:
ROUND: 1 PICK: 28
RECEIVED:
ROUND: 2 PICK: 3
ROUND: 4 PICK: 3
ROUND: 6 PICK: 14

TRADE PARTNER:
PITTSBURGH STEELERS SENT:
ROUND: 2 PICK: 21
RECEIVED:
ROUND: 2 PICK: 27
ROUND: 4 PICK: 25

ROUND: 7 PICK: 25

TRADE PARTNER:
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS SENT:
ROUND: 1 PICK: 22
RECEIVED:
ROUND: 1 PICK: 28
ROUND: 3 PICK: 28

15 picks, no way you can keep them all. So way to many trade downs. What becomes obvious is that DT
s are strong early, WR are strong in the middle, and the LBs coming out of the college ranks are not geared to the NFL game (danged spread offenses).

Bleacher Report: Some new names and new priorities at the top. If you take a Conklin, he can play LT or RT, OTs then can be Brown, Conklin. Newton can move to OG with Allen, and Su'a-Filo move to OC. It's a thought. If Brown is not ready at the start of the season they have coverage.

22: R1P22 OT JACK CONKLIN MICHIGAN STATE
52: R2P21 OLB SU'A CRAVENS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
85: R3P22 WR STERLING SHEPARD OKLAHOMA
120: R4P21 RB ALEX COLLINS ARKANSAS
160: R5P20 DT MATT IOANNIDIS TEMPLE
167: R5P27 ILB JARED NORRIS UTAH
196: R6P20 S TYVIS POWELL OHIO STATE

By all appearances, Hackenberg will be lucky to be drafted. Considering that and the fact we signed Osweiler, I wouldn't burn a pick on Hack until very late in the draft, if at all. In fact, I think the worst thing we could do is draft a QB (certainly one fairly early) this year and have all the fickle fans calling for him at the slightest hint of a struggle from Osweiler. Might be better off going with Savage, a vet or a late RD QB for this year and let Os have his day without rookie QB crap hanging over his shoulder.

I thought of cutting the entire page for each player but that was to cumbersome. So I added the links, glad you enjoyed it.

BTW those are Lance Zeirlien's breakdowns on the players.

Short of trading their top pick for multiple mid-round picks, OT is a real possibility for the #22 given the uncertainty they have with Brown at LT this year and even if he's completely healthy he's getting to be a vet who's been around quite awhile now so it's time anyway to start grooming a replacement especially with us now having a really big investment at QB.
