this website a few weeks ago. It uses an ELO model (which I don't totally understand) to project a team's chances in their upcoming game and the chances of making the playoffs/winning the division.
A score of 1500 is an
average NFL team. The Texans currently have a score of 1514 so, just a tick above average.
The Texans chances are of making the playoffs are currently at 49% and their chances of winning the division are currently at 36% - both up from last week.
