So the NFL national combine is going this week, good coverage on nfl.com and nfl network.
How about this QB as a possible late round draft choice by Texans, http://www.houstontexans.com/news/ar...e-edbe590520cc and here is an OT Texans talked to at combine. http://www.houstontexans.com/news/ar...1-f1c8ce2b9eda and, didn't realize this, but a regional pre draft combine was held at Texans facility for 188 players http://hou.scout.com/story/1512825-h...-combine?s=116 further, the nfl combine official news and results here http://www.nfl.com/combine Last edited by Nconroe; 02-19-2015 at 11:11 AM. |

This past Sunday was first ever Veterans Combine, for those guys hoping to make a come back. Some previously early round draft pick names among them.
I guess some of these guys will atleast be invited to camp on the 90 man roster and who knows from there. This article lists names of 105 players who were invited. All 32 teams sent representtives to watch and analyze. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...naugural-event http://www.houstontexans.com/tv-medi...d-7d9674d0ff12 |

I'd like to see Jerrod Johnson get a shot somewhere. He injured his shoulder as a senior and has had some hard luck ever since. This probably wouldn't be a good situation for him, though, despite it being his hometown -- with the other QBs competing I don't think a street free agent would get enough quality reps to show much. |
