Mallett look great, IMO. That one INT was somewhat poor placement and it just looked like he put too much air under it. As I watched it live, I just sensed that he floated it too much and the defender was going to be able to make a play on it. Had he thrown to the pylon side or maybe with less air, it likely would've been a TD. In addition, he obviously had his mind set on going to that left side to Hopkins, but after watching the replay, I think AJ (or someone) was wide open on the right side. Live and learn, but GM1 was extremely positive and I'm excited to watch our boys again.
