It has been a weird decline for the defense to not force more turnovers. Missing Cushing, Manning, and some outside pass rushing has really hurt, of course.

This stat alone is one you can point to though for a reason why the team could turnaround quickly next year even with all the holes they have. They've lost a lot of close games (until lately...) where even a +0 ratio could have a huge impact on final scores.

The other side of the turnover ledger needs to be addressed, too, obviously.

Antonio S. had a pretty good first half, we are going to miss him next year. Dang I just hope he doesn't end up in our division.

True, but last year defense had 29 turnovers, this year only 11.

But opponents have made a lot of points off Texans turnovers for sure.

The team's lack of defensive playmakers especially in the secondary is at least as big a problem as the quarterback situation.

I believe the record low for takeaways in a season is 12. Texans now have 11, I believe. So, if they don't force another turnover, the record is theirs!

Watching this game is making me sick. I mean this will be 14 straight weeks of total trash. Hopefully next season with a new hc and qb will be better.
