Our OL protecting Schaub really well today, no sacks today, against league leading sack team with 51, was one of keys to game. nice to see our OL come together at the right time. hope it continues.

I recorded this game and I will watch my recording because I want to see most of all what was going on the with the Oline, who played well and who didn't ? I know that Ben Jones started at RG, but also Brandon Broods took quite a few snaps there. And yea, that was a big penalty against him in the RZ, but in general wonder how he performed ? Oh yea, didn't Newt go all the way at RT ?

I'm happy the Texans won!!! But this conservative play calling will only get us beat in New England.

I actually think that conservative play calling is fine if the Texans control the LOS and finish in the red zone. I don't think it will be absolutely impossible to win next week. Very, very difficult but not impossible at all.

Yep, re: New England, I'm thinking I don't expect anything close to what happened on their last trip there..... I haven't seen a spread, yet, but I expect it to be in the 8 or 9 range...maybe higher....
Tony Dungy on NBC doesn't like their (Texans) chances in NE but he's become an "opposite endorsement" person lately (i.e. fade his picks).... He's beginning to get on my nerves (and BTW, some people should never go with the shaved head look, Dungy and his taxi cab ears is one of those people).... |

Either possibility resulted in a terrible analysis job. |

I suppose what irks me most is his favoritism toward the Colts organization and whoever Peyton is playing for - they can do no wrong..... Many times I've seen a film analysis where a player screws up and Dungy will chime in "you can't do that!"... Like the player made the mistake on purpose or something.... Heat of the battle, s**t happens, ya know? Hindsight is 20/20. He was a player himself so he should know how it goes sometimes.... Not saying he's a totally worthless analyst, just very annoying sometimes.... |

There were plenty of talking heads on TV predicting Texans had lost "it" and momentum, and would loose today.
Maybe we won a few analysts back today but already looks like very few giving us much chance against Pats either next Sunday. I guess Texans have grown some thru their recent losses, learning how to forget quickly their penalties or bad ref calls or thier own bad plays and keep going. Thought I saw a stronger Schaub today on mental toughness side. |
