Part of it is we really don't want to run foster and kind of don't want to run Tate. Regular season we would have 20 carries in a half like that. Not that it hurt us much offensively. We gouged them constantly and finished in the redzone.

I was thinking that the Saints were not biting on the boot at all. If the Texans can't run the ball effectively (and the jury is out on whether this line can produce yardage) it obviously disrupts the offense completely.

Like I said, we had an unwillingness to run it that was tied to it being a preseason game. They did everything possible to avoid putting the ball in fosters hands. The early bootlegs worked perfectly before it was obvious we didn't want our backs carrying the ball.

The Texans didn't run the ball well because they didn't want to?

Foster ran for 4 ypc and a TD in a 230 yard 24 point half for the offense. I'll leave it at that and let new Orleans "disrespect" our running game.

I said quite correctly that the Saints do not respect the team's running game, not that they 'disrespect' it. You may not appreciate the difference but for the benefit of those that do please do not misquote me.

From Dictionary.com...

dis·re·spect   /ˌdɪsrɪˈspɛkt/ Show Spelled[dis-ri-spekt] Show IPA
noun
1. lack of respect; discourtesy; rudeness.

The very first meaning of disrespect is lack of respect. For example, if I said I lacked respect for the meaning of your above post, that is the same as if I disrespected your post.
