11 Robert Quinn North Carolina OLB34
Could the Mighty Quinn really fall this far? Uncle Wade sure hopes so, as the athletic Tar Heel pass-rusher is quite the specimen (should we say "Trophy Prospect") even if he did take last year off. He still has to prove he can make the conversion to an all-around OLB in Phillips' 3-4 alignment. He did move around quite a bit for North Carolina, most often rushing the passer - training in coverage responsibilities will be the next step in his progression. At 6'4" and 265 lbs, he immediately adds a presence to the flanks and if a team doesn't have OLB's, there is no point in running a 3-4.
#42 Johnny Patrick Louisville CB
A slick covering CB that has been moving up the Big Board ranks -- those of you who have not seen many Big East games have not witnessed one of the shining stars for the Louisville Cardinals. Let's face it -- Houston had the worst defensive secondary in the league last year and Patrick adds some much needed "attitude" to the corner position on the Texan defense. It was no secret to AFC South QB's that if they had time, Houston's secondary could be beat. Yes, Uncle Wade still has some needs on the front 7 positions for his 3-4 conversion project, but the secondary could not be ignored and this is excellent value at a position of dire need!

I'm starting to like the idea of Quinn at 11, he should be gone higher, and he would be out of character for the Texans to draft, but he was a stud on tape.
