Default Indy getting banged up

Hope the players recover, but Clark is out and Addai is questionable. Their punter is suspended for a PI. Well, Indy may not have had their punter active for the game anyway...

Wait. The Colts have a punter? Really?

Guaranteed Clark will be back in time for our game. That's how our luck works.

Not likely. I read somewhere yesterday evening that he may be done for the year....

I HATE that guy

Clark has a cast on his arm so he's out. I'm pretty certain Addai will be out as well, or, he'll be fairly ineffective and be out with the first good hit he takes. Not that it's unusual, but it looks like we're going to get a full dose of Manning/Collie/Wayne in this game with a small dash of Hart/Brown.

Default Austin Collie out a few weeks after hand surgery

From PFT:

Austin Collie out a few weeks after hand surgery
Posted by Michael David Smith on October 21, 2010 2:53 PM ET
Dallas Clark's injury isn't the only one that should concern Peyton Manning this week: Colts receiver Austin Collie is also hurt.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Collie underwent hand surgery this week and is expected to miss a few weeks.

Collie has 44 catches for 503 yards and a team-high six touchdowns this season. Clark has 37 catches for 347 yards and three touchdowns.

Between them, Collie and Clark have caught 47 percent of Manning's completions this season for 44 percent of his passing yards and 69 percent of his touchdowns.

Reggie Wayne, be ready to have a whole lot of passes thrown your way.

Crazy then. No Collie, maybe no Addai, maybe no Clark?

Too bad they still have 18, who can make anything out of anything.

Yeah, if Manning had the Osmonds as his receiving corps, he'd still get 300 yards passing.

And, they lost their punter due to brilliance for the upcoming Monday night game as well.

Well, we have lost lots of guys due to injuries as well.

Hope we can win several more games in division this year, that would be nice.

Default Clark to IR

Indy placed Clark on IR today. Thus they will be without him for the rest of the season.

Lest we forget fellas, Indy still have Payton Manning. He is still dangerous and will make do with what he's got. We need to do the same, only better.

this site compares stats for Texans and Colts going into week 8 after this bye wk.
http://pickingpros.com/nfl/games/8-hou-vs-ind.php

Slight advantage to Colts given due to their defense gets one more turnover per game and thereby about one touchdown less given up per game than Texans.

On offense Colts maintain possession about two minutes per game more than Texans up to now, although both score about same 27 points/game on average.

So according to that the Colts have a 75% chance of winning next week against us.
