Now that the run defense has improved, we can't defend the pass. Jeckyl and Hyde again. We need to keep fine tuning to keep the other team guessing.

On a lighter note, we have shut down two premier running backs in two consecutive weeks. Hopefully we don't make Trent Edwards or Losman look good this week. |

Well, part of the problem was D. Rob's contract, or lack of, and the other was Reeves getting hurt. I don't care who you are, if you give the opposing QB enough time to throw, he and the receivers will beat the secondary. We need to keep the heat on with our ends and LB's.

Don't disrespect the Harvard man. Before he was in Cincy, he was with the Rams. Those from the old site might remember I wanted to take a flyer on this guy coming out of the draft. You might also remember when we knocked Marc Bulger out of the game and Fitz came in to lead a big come from behind victory in the 4th quarter. I'm imagining that Lee Evans will have a big game and T.O. might make a big play too. We've got to get pressure with Mario, Okoye, Smith, Barwin, Cushing, and Diles. Just because we are "supposed" to win, doesn't mean this is going to be easy.

There's actually quite a few relatively big names in the UFL....well at least some names you would recognize. Losman supposedly thought he would be better off starting in the UFL than taking one of the opportunities he had in the NFL to be a back up. I guess he's hoping he gets a better chance to compete for a starting spot next year in the NFL.
