And I do agree with RPs assessment of Hill: why not use an Eric Winston (who was also actually a TE before being converted to OT), who could probably still catch a pass as well as Hill (very, very low bar there) if need be but still be a more effective blocking TE.
I agree that Brown runs with good power. He is a good compliment to Slaton. I just don't think he is a great short yardage guy that will solve all of our redzone problems.

And I agree Hill looked bad as a receiver. I didn't watch close enough to judge him as a blocker yet.

Hill looked like he was not ready for the hits. If he can overcome that (and as a TE he has to expect it) then he looks the part. I said at the beginning of TC that he would be the one to go to the PS, not Casey.
