So the Texans re-added Brink following Grossman's injury, not a surprise. I still doubt Brink makes the final 53, and I haven't seen much of anything to think Grossman deserves a spot, either, even if healthy.

Then in light of the Vikes creating a logjam with the signing of Favre, I wonder what the market might be like for Tarvaris Jackson? The Texans already have their backup of the future signed in Orlovsky - and I still like him, however raw he is now - but T-Jack has some qualities that I think could be very effective in this offense, especially if he is available on the cheap.

I knew of the Sex cannon's rep for "going deep", but I always thought it was exaggerated. It's not. At all. You just knew he was going to let it fly on that first pass he threw. There was no reason to even think about throwing that ball. Even at practice I saw him force ball after ball right into coverage. I know some people wanted Rex over Orlovsky. Orlovsky hasn't done anything to impress me, but I would be terrified with Rex at the helm right now.

I see most of Dan's issues as footwork/mental. He is over and under throwing the ball, which comes from footwork, and over thinking. He should be able to calm down as he gets more comfortable. Well we can hope.

I'm not worried about Orlovsky. I can see why Kubiak likes him, but there just hasn't been anything that makes me think we are really onto something. Grossman has made me cringe on at least 6 or 7 throws.

Grossman is a wild cannon, and you can see why he wore out his welcome in Chi'town.
