I'm not sure a sack on the first series is the best thing for our oft injured qb. Hope fully this next series is better.

On a lighter note, the defense did force a punt.

Pass to AJ gets the Texans out of the hole. Ball at about the Texan 30...

Raining pretty strong...

Holding on the Texans - ball back at the Texan 27...

Anderson catches a short pass... 3rd and 10...

Horse collar tackle saves Chris Brown's miscue after big gainer....

Texans ball now at the Chiefs 20..

Texans moving the ball.... Brown takes it to the 2.

Chris Brown and his band of renown get into the end zone. And now he's going to kick the extra point. Oh, wait. That's the other Kris Brown.

So, it's Texans 7, Chefs 0.

Texans offense just imposed its will on that 94-yard drive. Brown had four straight carries for 23 yards into the endzone after his fumble on the screen pass.

On another board, they were talking about a new rule for this year:

The "wedge" on kick returns is now outlawed. You can't have more than two blockers next to each other on kick returns. The next guy has to be several feet away. I think the net result will be far fewer long kickoff returns.

Texans kickoff. KC sets up shop about the 30.

Battle for two runs - one nice gain, the other stuffed. DelJuan hurt on the second but up and around....

3rd and 11. Screen not much. KC to punt.

Short punt give the Texans the ball at their own 43.

Chris Brown could always run the ball. That wasn't in question. It is just that he can't stay healthy for a whole season. He would always give Tennesee like 3-4 huge games each year and be inactive for 5-8.

I almost regret seeing him out there playing well tonight because it is likely one fewer we get from him that counts.

Texans don't get much - 4th and 2, have to punt.

Punt goes out of bounds at the 15. KC's ball.

KC doesn't do a whole lot... KC to punt...

JJ has a short return to the Texan 27...

1st down to AD on a quick hitter.... rain has let up..

On 3rd and 10, pass to AD is just short of the 1st down.... Texans to punt..

KC fields the ball at about the 14...

Jacoby looked a lot more comfortable on kick return than he did last year.
