Zach Thomas used to have one when he was with the Dolphins. This is not all that unusual.

I've heard of a lot of guys using them....and the little bit of half assed research I did didn't seem to be conclusive if they actually worked or not (for athletes). It probably can't hurt, and It shows a dedication to taking care of your body....but I would make fun of him too.

AJ Hawk and most of his Ohio St. LBing crew sleep in one, well different one's.

AJ even had his bedroom made into a chamber.

Deion Sanders toured his house and met his hot wife, Laura, Brady Quinn's sister.

Anthony Gonzales (colts wr) sleeps in one every night. they had a whole segment on outside the lines about it when he was entering the draft. Terrell Owens credits the one he had when he was with the eagles for helping his broken leg heal enough for him to play in the super bowl. Still one of the gutsiest performances i've seen in a while. Of course, it's no Byron Leftwich having to be carried down the field in between plays or scrambling for a first down on a broken ankle, but it was gutsy.

Apparently these things are all the rage. I wonder if they're any good for hangover prevention?
