Blockbuster signing - Jeff Zgonina

While I like what Zgonina brings to the lockerroom...I was a little dissapointed though. He's not the same player he was even a couple of years ago and I would rather see some young guy get a shot. I understand that Zgonina will be able to jump right in...but there's no long term benefit here.

Oh, and I doubt Zgonina would agree to go his 57th training camp in a row in the Houston heat if he didn't think he had a shot at sticking.

Well, if he got a min. signing bonus, then fifty large for a couple weeks of work isn't too shabby, either.
