Default Chris Brown

so uh....pretty much as advertised right? he's about half a running back.

back spasms now? really, i've never seen him play all that much but is he worth it? i don't want some guy who can't even practice, i'd much rather see walker getting a shot or taylor. i heard mike bell was circling the waters too...

Makes it easier to cut him.

You can't rely on someone who is always hurt, we been through that our entire franchise.

It is refreshing to read of that he is basically the only one (w/ Petey) and he are the only injured, while other teams are not as lucky.

He was/is an insurance policy for Ahman. Hopefully Ahman stays healthy and Chris Brown is not needed.

Then We will go with Green, Slayton, Walker, Taylor and Leach. Cook barring injury will get cut. Taylor will be the hybrid TB/FB special teamer who gives flexability to do multiple things on gameday.

I think Kubes has learned over the past couple of years how to back off during camp and give the guys some rest, and the guys know how to get the work in and off the field. Maturation by everyone.

RB Green/Slaton/Walker FB Leach/Taylor

this sounds alright. i think slaton and walker are a little bit too much alike as the smallish, speedy, 3rd down type runners. everything about ch-brown is nice except his health issues and since his inability to be healthy/reputation of the same is standing in the way of any progress i have to wonder how long of a leash kubiak and smith let him have. i'm already catching a hint of displeasure in interviews when ch-brown gets mentioned. if this is the way it shakes out i have to believe taylor has a better shot of getting (and probably staying) on the field. if brown isn't cut and walker gets the axe in the numbers game we just have to hope for healthy runners or we'll get this scenario anyway.

i would be happy with a green/taylor/slayton/walker backfield. walker would probably see very limited action, but he would be good insurance if green goes down.

If I were a head coach I would have four RB's. I figure they're only good for about 4 games a piece before they get hurt. That's a tough position. Those guys are always gonna be banged up and of you get one to take you thru the season, well great! Then you've got fresh legs if you need them.

Back spasms are easy to fix thru massage techniques. So this isn't the real problem with Brown. Probably something else or they're letting him miss most of training camp because he's got it.
