So the NFL national combine is going this week, good coverage on nfl.com and nfl network.

I guess this guy won't be around by Texans pick Vic Beaseley DE, perhaps OLB

CBS sports has him listed at 15 overall right now, although likely moving up.

This past Sunday was first ever Veterans Combine, for those guys hoping to make a come back. Some previously early round draft pick names among them.

I guess some of these guys will atleast be invited to camp on the 90 man roster and who knows from there.

This article lists names of 105 players who were invited. All 32 teams sent representtives to watch and analyze.

Adam Carriker is a big body who had some talent at one point. If his knee is sound he'd fit this defense.

I'd like to see Jerrod Johnson get a shot somewhere. He injured his shoulder as a senior and has had some hard luck ever since. This probably wouldn't be a good situation for him, though, despite it being his hometown -- with the other QBs competing I don't think a street free agent would get enough quality reps to show much.
