But isn't that what we are in need of? 3rd and short, 4th and short, etc, etc. Having two backs of similiar style would some benefits, but I would rather have a bull dozer, that can run this offense, to get us 6 instead of 3.

Are they mutually exclusive? Is it an either/or situation?
I think if we can get Selvin in here without a huge financial committment, then we do it. And then we remain in the market for a bigger back. The truth is we probably need to sign at least 2 more backs before training camp in addition to any UDFA we bring in.
I say Slaton, Young, and EJames would get us through next year (that is unless a rookie back unseats one of them which is all the better).
