Default What Started As A Joke May Become Reality (Watson to Patriots)?

It may just be sportswriter sh*t-stirring, but CBS Sports has a story of a cryptic tweet from Deshaun Watson being interested in changing locations after O'Brien took away his favorite toy.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/d...-trade-rumors/

Of course, O'Brien has links to Belichick and has already pulled off one head-scratching trade. Deshaun may have to find some "baby mamas" to show up at Texan practices.

Belichick has said (probably in jest) that Stidham is his new QB, then signed former Texan Brian "The Playoff Destroyer" Hoyer. Ummm, big hole still left in Foxboro.

What would it take to get Watson to New England? Any reasonable GM would laugh and hang up the phone or insist on three first-rounders and their two third-round comp picks this year. But this is O'Brien. Maybe he'll settle for Benjamin Watson.

FWIW, Belichick can settle for Famous Jamais' Tasty Turnovers or Cam Newton who is being released today and just keep all those draft picks.

But, then, that's not the "Patriot Way"...

I hope we trade him.

We're a train wreck that won't be fixed in the next half decade. And things will need to get worse before they get better since Watson currently secures O'Brien's job. But honestly I just don't want to see Watson's career wasted here. And I probably won't be watching games either way so let him entertain another fan base.
