When we drafted high, people complained about the salary the rookie made against the cap, so I guess there's just no winning with some people. Given that 2010 may be an uncapped year, a lot of conventional thinking will go out the window. Expect some weird personnel moves next year.
BTW, Denver's (8-4) first-round pick is actually the one from the Bears (5-7). The Seahawks have the pick that was allocated to Denver. I bitched that the Bears' #1 wouldn't be as high as Denver's last April. Guess I missed the boat on that one. |

Hey, don't feel too bad, we have all missed the boat on draft and personnel choices for this inconsistent team.
One thing I feel strongly about is we don't need to draft another LB with our first round pick. Our LB's have really improved this year. And with the lucky addition of Pollard, I don't see any need for a high draft pick on a safety.
