Jake Plummer ought to be tanned, rested, and ready right about now.



In all seriousness though... I would consider having the Snake's phone number handy. He paid back a portion of his signing bonus to the Bucs. I'm not sure whether that still entitles them to his rights, but I can't imagine the Bucs having much interest in him anyway (nor Jake in Tampa). Plummer is only like 34 years old, and while it has been more than two years since he has thrown a football professionally, I'd have a hard time believing he would have much trouble re-learning Kubiak's offense.

Spend 10 minutes with the former NFL quarterback and it's obvious the man is perfectly happy away from football. One of the biggest reasons has been his rediscovery of handball, the sport that his father, Steve, taught Jake and his older brothers, Eric and Brett, when they were young. ...
