Can the Texans keep up their intensity without a playoff berth on the line and without their defensive coordinator on the sidelines? Will TJ Yates be able to score points without Andre Johnson in the lineup? Is Can Newton stoppable for four quarters?

After the game, the Texans could get help from the Broncos or the Chargers in their quest for a first-round bye.

Spread has dropped from Texans by 6.5 to mostly 4.5. Uh-oh.

This is the first game I've seen in person and from this vantage point I can see that TJ, as much as I love him, makes a ton of rookie mistakes in missing open receivers. He's great at getting to his second read but not his third.

We're not the only team stinking it up so far. The Packers are scoreless at halftime. The Giants are getting blown out by the Redskins and it took the Titans an entire half to get a lead on the Colts.

Carolina has been in this situation many times this year and teams came back on them to win though I'm not sure the Texans can come back from 21. The Panthers will need to turn it over themselves to help let the Texans back in the game.....
