Default Colts Staffing

Certainly didn't see this coming, based on all the reports. Figured it'd be one or the other. Would have preferred if Pagano left, and Grigson stayed. He's the bigger moron of the two.

@RapSheet Everyone will return for the #Colts. That's coach Chuck Pagano AND GM Ryan Grigson.

Good. I think for the most part Pagano is good at getting his players to play hard and never quit, but is not a good X's and O's guy and makes poor staffing decisions. Grigson is crap as GM, IMO.

I can't imagine that situation being handled worse. Pagano was so sure he was gone that his staff started leaking negative reports about the toxic work environment a month ago, and how Grigson makes demands about who plays and who doesn't. I think at every turn in the past 12 months (including this one), Indy has chosen the most dysfunctional option. Poor Andrew Luck has to put up with this and is the only QB left in his draft class to still not get paid. I hope he plays out his deal and plays with the Tag for a year to become a FA.

God bless Irsay.

Coaching on this team has been downhill ever since Arians left.

And for all the complaints I have about Rick Smith, at least he ain't Grigson.

For that matter, three of the worst run franchises in the league are the Texans' competition for the AFC South. For as bad as things have been at times in Houston, they have won the division three of the last five years. Seems likely they could win three of the next five too.
