Default Brandon Williams, Division II DT

Brandon Williams is a gigantic man who plays defensive line for Division II Missouri Southern State University in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association. Williams is 6’3", 325 pounds and was recently named MIAA defensive player of the year.

He's at the Senior Bowl this week where he weighed-in @ 340 & just under 6'2". For sure a long-shot, but wow would it be sweet to have a Vince Wolfork type at NT. He won't last beyond the second round, if he doesn't end up in the first.
Check him out today if you've got NFL.Net, game starts at 3.

Seems to be doing ok.

Might be a good draft for NT this year.

Montori Hughes and John Jenkins doing good also.

I like him too, a real load to handle on the inside. We were gutted on inside runs late in the season. But only as a 4-5 round selection. The DT class this year is pretty deep.

He reminds me of another NT I like on Miss St, Dewayne Cherrington, 6-3, 335lbs. , though only had 1 good year of playing time, I think he'd be a steal in the 7th round.

Walterfootball had this little quote with his mention in Barret Jones profile:

" Jones also had success against massive nose tackle John Jenkins. Jones had a harder time with Mississippi State compared to other teams he has played against this season. Heavy defensive tackle Dewayne Cherrington was a challenge for Jones and guard Chance Warmack. Jones had a good game overall, but wasn't as overwhelming as he has been in other games."

Thats pretty good praise for a 7th rounder-UDFA.
