This game reminds me of the game last year in Reliant against the other NY team, except this one is a worse azz-thumpin.

I know I should not be rooting for Tennessee, but I just cannot see myself going for the Cowgirls...

What we have here is a coach that can't see his ass from a molehill. With Kubiak at the helm we will never win the big one. I like him, he is a Houston boy and everything, but he simply cannot overcome his tendancy to underestimate his opponent. the Giants simply owned him from the getgo today.

I wish guys would make up their mind about what they think of the Texans. When we play good everybody rallies behind them giving props all around. When things go bad everybody wants somebody fired.... Chill out guys, we still have the division lead. We are not gonna play this bad every single week. Besides, this is the Fox jinx. We go back to CBS next week and things will be all right.

The problem is that Kubiak is a stubborn coach. He has an offense that he wants to run no matter what. He has assumed that the teams success has been because of his offense. I would counter that the teams success has been due to the talent on this team.

When presented with a defense that has figured out his offense, he simply has no adjustments. He continues to do the same thing. Thats why our losses have been blowouts.

We have playoff talent on this team. However, our coaching staff (offense/defense) is subpar...

Giants controlled the los on both sides of the ball, and got pressure on Schaub whereas Manning had all day to throw the ball.
I think that's more about who's got the best players than who had the best game strategy, so I don't see todays loss as an issue about coaching.

Their is only one actual player that I have an issue with (KJ). My main concern is the coaching, both offense and defense. When we lose, we lose BADDDDDDD...

2 blowouts in 3 games is not reminiscent of a playoff team.

A loss I am OK with...A blowout I am not....

Good coaching adjusts to personnel. We have had the same OL and DL for about 1 year and a half now. We have talent. It is just not being used properly.

I'm with this. Texans got out-physical'ed at the LOS. Sprinkle in some mental mistakes, untimely turnovers and you get complete domination from the Giants.

Time of possession: Giants 38:51, Texans 21:09

1st downs: Giants 26, Texans 11

Total yards: Giants 414, Texans 195

CBs lining up 10-15 yards off the recievers and consistently being punished underneath. Then when you decide to go Man to Man you get two picks. But for some reason you go right back to zone coverage to be beaten consistently again. A good coach adjusts and adjusts and adjusts until they find something that works.

The announcers consistently pointed out that the Defense consistently was a step ahead of the Offense. That is good coaching...

Safeties were consistently playing the cutback. Dlinemen did not have to get consistent pressure they only had to get a hand up because they were aware of Shaub's tendencies. This was good coaching...

This happens a lot with the Texans. A physical team just seems to totally discombobulate Kubiak. So I say he will never win the big one, and that is all we really care about, right? Is it time for a coaching change?
