Default This Looks Like My Dream Draft (4/8)

Fanspeak board in difficult setting. I made two trade downs and grabbed practically everyone on my wish list:

TRADE PARTNER:
ARIZONA CARDINALS
SENT:
ROUND: 2 PICK: 23

RECEIVED:
ROUND: 3 PICK: 1
ROUND: 4 PICK: 1

TRADE PARTNER:
LA RAMS
SENT:
ROUND: 3 PICK: 22

RECEIVED:
ROUND: 3 PICK: 35
ROUND: 4 PICK: 31
ROUND: 6 PICK: 30

These two trade downs gave me the first pick of the 3rd and 4th rounds for the cost of 2-23 then I took 3-22 and picked up a 4th and a 6th by dropping 13 spots in the third.

The results:

23: R1P23 OT ANDRE DILLARD, WASHINGTON STATE

54: R2P22 OT YODNY CAJUSTE WVU

65: R3P1 CB AMANI ORUWARIYE, PENN STATE

99: R3P35 TE JACE STERNBERGER, TEXAS A&M

103: R4P1 DL DAYLON MACK, TEXAS A&M

133: R4P31 WR HUNTER RENFROW, CLEMSON

161: R5P23 RB BENNY SNELL JR., KENTUCKY

195: R6P22 RB BRYCE LOVE, STANFORD

203: R6P30 LB GARY JOHNSON, TEXAS

220: R7P6 S MIKE EDWARDS, KENTUCKY

Almost all these names you've seen before so I'll spare the reasons.

Is it just me? ANDRE DILLARD is said to be the only true OLT in the draft, so why is it that many list have him as a 2nd rounder? And as a true OLT, will he really be there at #23?

Yes I continue to take him in the mocks I do, but I really question the knowledge of the people making up the list.

Dillard is seen as a below-average run blocker but an outstanding pass blocker. He lacks some of the upper body strength needed to push defenders around but he has excellent footwork to stay in between the pass rusher and the quarterback. He played at Washington State which is a Mike Leach (Texas Tech) pass-happy offense which means he's more experienced at backpedaling than pushing forward and typically did not have to sustain his pass blocks as long as the typical NFL pass-blocker.

He performed very well at the Senior Bowl which simulates an NFL offense which removed some of the worries.

Those who say "best LT" or "best true LT" are saying he's not a good candidate to move to other line positions with his current skill set. Sort of like saying someone would make a great DH in baseball.
