We will draft Tate but not the one everyone is thinking about. We are getting Golden Tate. We need a solid #2 receiver capable of making big plays and makes defenses pay for double teaming Andre. Kevin Walter is not a #2 receiver IMO.

Sean Lee off the board for the Cowboys. That's a better pick than Dez Bryant in my opinion.

I just posted something similar awhile ago. Why not use him in a hybrid RB/WR role, ala Reggie Bush?

The guards keep falling. If we can still take Asamoah or Mike Johnson at #62, that's a good move.

Nobody's going to run through Ngata and Cody.

I'm not a big fan of Ray Lewis, but he's the reason B-more can draft questionable guys like Terrance Cody...he won't let him fail. I predict slaps to the back of the head if Lewis sees him with an extra porkchop at dinnertime.

I'll take that Tate, too. We gave up a 5th.

Well Tate was my 2nd choice, so I'm happier now. Plus, we didn't give up the 3rd from Minny to move back up.

Effectively, the Texans gave up a 5th round pick and acquired a 3rd round pick, while getting the running back they wanted. Very, very nice.

I agree. If Tate was their guy, it was a good move. And obviously somebody else was looking there too because the Browns just traded up for Hardesty, so they probably wanted Tate and figured they had to snatch Hardesty before he went off the board too.

Lance Z was saying Hardesty was falling down boards because of injuries, so Ben Tate was THE running back in this draft in terms of value.

We also got another 3rd round pick

OG John Jerry
FS Brandon Ghee
OG Jon Asamoah
DT Geno Atkins
FS Morgan Burnett
CB Akwasi Owusu-Ansah
DE Daniel Te'o-Nesheim

Great move, again.

Ben Tate>Ryan Mathews IMO.

I love the fact we got another 3rd.

I liked the idea of getting Golden Tate as our #2 also.

I like it ! Tate & Slaton. Mr. Inside & Mr. Outside.
So what are we doing with our 2 3rd rounders now ?
