Default Eight Years

Eight years of total irrelevance.

Here is a list of the NFL teams who have not made the playoffs in the eight years of the Texans' existence:

Detroit Lions
Buffalo Bills
Houston Texans

I see it as 8 years of moderate improvement. We've only had two 8-8 records these past 2 seasons and the previous seasons were losing records. You gotta think theyre doing something right at least. We have the players now, all we need is to get over the hump. If we finish 9-7 and still miss the playoffs I would consider it as an improvement over last year.

you are the kind of fan mcnair loves. 9-7, when meaningless, is not improvement in my book.

This team has given up. You could see it in their faces when that pass interference call come down. It was the "here we go again" syndrome.

We had the same problem in the Capers team toward the end but his team was so bereft of talent that they completely imploded. We are an 7-9, 8-8 team because of the talent level, not because our play or coaching.

Kubes has lost the players, its obvious by the way they make the same mistakes, game after game. Its never the same guy which also points to coaching as well.

I want consistency but consistently mediocre is not my idea of success.

This team lacks the following:

discipline
poise
focus
heart
intestinal fortitude

These attributes are not a player issue, its a coaching issue.

It's an attitude issue. The Texans still expect things to break against them while the Colts expect things to break for them. Sunday's game illustrated that perfectly.
