Ken Hall
Back on the old HPF site, a discussion of great high school football stars ensued one day and I recalled an SI article about Sugarland High's Ken Hall, who was, simply, the greatest high school football player in (as Ric is wont to say) the history of ever...and nobody's ever heard of him. I know I hadn't til I read the article.
Anyway, thanks to SI.com's "Vault", you can all read about the wonder that was Ken Hall. And, by the way, Bear Bryant was, apparently, a moron. http://vault.sportsillustrated.cnn.c...5960/index.htm

In fairness, he has now been eclipsed by two or three others. Eric Dickerson I think was one.

And, don't forget, he played both ways. He was, apparently, the real life Tecmo Bowl Bo Jackson. http://www.nflhs.com/News/Records/11man_ind_rushing.asp

"He was junior class president, graduated third in his class of 24, and was voted Most Handsome at Sugar Land High in 1953"
