Default Duke Ejiofor Tears ACL in First Padded Practice of 2020

Catching up on some training camp news...

Devastating that Duke Ejiofor tore his ACL. Done for the season, assuming there is one. Was just getting over an Achilles tear, so not sure how well that was going. But a big loss for the pass rush if the team thought he was healthy enough to contribute.

So the pass rush wasn't looking all that great before this. And yesterday, announced after Ejiofor's injury, the team restructured three contracts. Is there a signing coming? And is it coincidence that Jadeveon Clowney is still a free agent and that GM/HC Bill O'Brien is really hot for experienced vets this season? Even if it isn't Clowney, hard to imagine the Texans not making a move for an edge rusher before Week 1, and O'Brien has a rep of pulling big triggers for what he wants.

Somehow, signing Clowney will wind up costing us two #1's and swapping down in the fourth.

I'm currently rehabbing my 2nd ACL tear and surgery. I almost just left this one alone due to age, but I decided I wasn't quite ready for that. Either way it's exhausting and brutal rehab, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Feel bad for Ejiofor and the team.

And I'd love to see a 1 year deal for Clowney.

When the knees go, Superman becomes Clark Kent. Ask Reggie Bush.

Hope it heals up, man.

How did you suffer the tear Barrett ?
But your comment about Clowney tells me atleast you haven't lost your sense of humor in spite of your injury.

I severely sprained my ankle many many years ago playing soccer in my front yard with my son. After my doctor asked me how I did it, he immediately followed that up with asking rhetorically how old I was.

Touchè, doc.
